Living with a small backyard and a Doberman means we need to walk and let him run outside of the house. Fortunately we live in an area where I can let him off leash and run without being at a dog park. If that is not available I use a flexi and let him roam and explore. We average about 3-4miles a day and I try to reinforce training every chance I get. Dobermans are getting a lot of recognition right now, especially with Penny winning Best in Show and that’s amazing. But I also want people to understand that this breed is not for everyone.
