"What is access? Is it a checklist? Is it the ADA? Is it a flat trail? Is it using outriggers? A wheelchair? A personal care assistant? To me it’s that and so much more! The idea of access is a shift in perception of our ability. That ability is a spectrum. From physical to cognitive to mental. And as always disability isn’t a bad thing, but the amount we know about it is. As I build a life with an accessible outdoors in mind, my perception is always evolving when I experience someone and someth
