Two weeks ago, while we were asleep at the wheel, the Clarett Group unveiled the plans for its 28-story residential tower at 230 Ashland Place that some are calling the Flatiron Building of Brooklyn.
“Nocturnal Flight,” a glowing artistic tribute to the late Blaine Weber, founding partner of architecture firm Weber Thompson, was installed at The Ayer last month.
Embroiled in legal battles for the better part of a decade, a notably tall (not to mention pyramid-shaped) mixed-use tower is a major step closer to joining the famously short Parisian skyline.
