Dozens of tornadoes could erupt during severe storms in the U.S. this week, putting millions of people at risk.

A tornado warning remained in effect for parts of Baltimore County Wednesday evening as a radar-indicated storm capable of producing a tornado moved east at 50 mph near Towson.

A string of tornadoes touched down in multiple states as severe weather stretched from Texas to Michigan.

Millions remain under tornado watches on Wednesday in the aftermath of destructive, deadly storms that formed overnight.

The Kankakee County Sheriff's Office confirmed at least one tornado touched down south of Kankakee, near the Kankakee Fairgrounds, on Tuesday evening.
