Apple raises MacBook prices across the board as M5 chips, new displays signal AI-first strategy
Apple’s Mac refresh moves the lineup further upmarket, pairing higher prices with faster performance in a push to give customers a reason to upgrade.
Apple's press release and marketing materials for the new Studio Display and Studio Display XDR models do not mention which chips are inside the monitors, but MacRumors has confirmed this information in the latest Studio Display firmware.

MacRumors first reported that a regulatory document referring to an unreleased “MacBook Neo (Model A3404)” was accidentally leaked by Apple. The document appears to no longer be online.
