Delta Air Lines DAL -1.89% is betting that even travelers who want luxuries like lie-flat seats and chef-curated meals are willing to make some trade-offs for a cheaper ticket.

Delta said Basic Business passengers will receive the same onboard experience as Delta One customers, including chef-curated three-course meals, hot towel service and 180-degree lie-flat seats.
