I have the 2021 SL7 Checkpoint and put on the S-Works Pathfinders (only come in 42) -smooth center, small tread on outside of the tire -sounds exactly like what you would want to try next.

Lots of folks are using the checkpoint as a road bike, it's very versatile. In May I did a 200km randonneur ride with a guy on a checkpoint with slicks, I was just barely able to keep up with him on my road bike.
So my questions is. do you need a checkpoint to use LORA ? what is the difference between sd 1.5, sd 2 (I see that everywher) and pruned. What is a model and how to use it ? is a checkpoint a model and you always must have the checkpoint related to the lora ?? The architecture needs to be the same, so SDXL LoRAs can only be used with SDXL checkpoints, SD 1.5 LoRAs with SD 1.5 checkpoints etc. The degree to which the LoRA can be used with a checkpoint will vary depending on how specific the LoRA is and how distinctly different the training checkpoint is from the checkpoint you're using. The problem isn't the service, it is the Checkpoint firewall... period. How do you fix this? We can get it fixed by doing SIM FASTACCEL bypass, but that is just a Band-Aid. That can't be the acceptable fix here...
