The TYT UV-88 manual (also below) is no help here. Now for a question that maybe someone with more experience can help me with. It seems like there is something funky about the squelch. I have a bunch of repeaters programmed and if I set it to scan it will stop when it hears traffic.
This radio is a TYT TH-UV88 that has been rebranded and it looks like new firmware installed. CHIRP now recognizes the Explorer QRZ-1 and it's free. These radios can be bought new online for about $25-$30 with the programing cable and free shipping. Please tell me what I am missing?
